Green acid lake, Mount Pinatubo

Mount Pinatubo in the Philippines has an acidic bright green volcanic lake in its summit crater. Gasses and minerals seeping into the lake give it its color. After years of slumber Mount Pinatubo on Luzon Island Exploded to life in 1991 with one of the largest volcanic eruptions in the 20th Century. Pinatubo is known for its Plinian Type Volcanic Eruptions.
