Mr. Bert White, the American parachute expert, and Mr. Roscoe Turner, the Transcontinental flyer, are now preparing for a record breaking altitude flight, and parachute jump. Mr. White hopes to break the present parachute record of 24,402 feet, set up by Capt. A.W. Stevens, of the U.S. Army, at Dayton, Ohio, several years ago. Roscoe Turner hopes to reach an altitude of 29,000 feet. O.P.S.
