Monty Presents His Bush - Hat To Australia: At a ceremony at Australia House, Field-Marshal Viscount Montgomery presented his famous bush-hat, which bears the badges of different Army regiments, to the Rt. Hon. J.A. Beasley, High Commissioner for Australia. The bush-hat will now go to the Canberra Museum. 'Monty' and Mr. J .A. Beasley, who holds the hat. August 22, 1947.
