Factum Est A [Jehova] Et Est Mirabile'. Psalm 118: 23. The full line is "A Domino factum est istud hoc est mirabile in oculis nostris.", translates as "This is the Lord's doing and it is wonderful in our eyes." A print celebrating and congratulating Frederick V and Elizabeth, newly crowned King and Queen of Bohemia; with an etching showing in the centre the crowned Frederick V and Elizabeth, both holding a sceptre and orb, in front of them four heraldic lions representing the Palatinate, Bohemia, England, and the Netherlands, in the background on the left a peaceful scene with Calvin, Luther, and Hus swearing on the Bible, on the right a battlefield with Catholic priests retreating. The name R.Holme (Randle Holme) is written on the print. . Holme Album, containing over 150 prints and drawings covering a range of subject-matter, pasted or drawn on 72 pages. The contents of the Album were collected by Randle Holme the Elder and his son. Printed at Dort by Abraham Van de Sloote, Circa 1619.
