They arrived at Tilsbury earlier in the liner Corfu from Singapore.And She's a good cook, too - A Goddess in a tweed coat and fur-lined boots arrived in London yesterday. Her name is Ho Lai-Sheum, which in Chinese means Beautiful Goddess of the Moon, but she is more usually known now as Mrs. Alan Pickford, wife of a Royal Army Pay Corps sergeant. January 17, 1955.
