Queen Mary Leaves Marlborough House For Last Time -- The Coffin, covered with Queen Mary's personal standard, borne from Marlborough House (which was Queen Mary's residence) to the gun carriage by a bearer party from the Queen's Company, Grenadier Guards. Through streets lined with sorrowing crowds, Queen Mary made her last processional journey in London to-day (Sunday) when her coffin was taken from the Queen's Chapel, Marlborough House, to Westminster Hall for the lying--in-state. The Coffin was borne on a horse-drawn gun carriage of the King's Troop, Royal Horse Artillery. March 29, 1953. (Photo by Reuterphoto).
