Summer camp of the Hitler Youth, Germany, 1936. Founded in 1922, the Hitler Youth was a paramilitary organisation for boys aged 14 and over. There was also a junior branch for 10-14 year-olds, the Deutsches Jungvolk. The organisation's members were indoctrinated with the political and racial ideologies of the Nazi Party and received physical and military training.
