Turkey, Gallipoli, Mehmetcige Memorial. It is a monument of a Turkish soldier and a British soldier. It was built by an inspiration speech of Australian Governor General Lord Richard Casey who served as a lieutenant at Gallipoli. It tells the story that how in the battle a Turkish soldier carried a wounded British soldier from his trench to the Allied trench leaving him with his side and returned to his own.
