The main sacristy (Sacristía Mayor) constitutes the most characteristic space of the Cathedral of Almería, constituting a point of reference for Renaissance art in southern Spain. Juan de Orea, in the sixteenth century, conceived the Sacristy of Almeria as that place of preparation of the ministers of worship for religious celebrations.
