The base is flattened with a flat protruding edge. The chalice is conical and runs to the bottom with air bubbles, around. Decoration: virgin with helmet and shield next to a man in Roman costume who puts his foot on a viper and in his left hand wears a laurel wreath. Behind the virgin a lamb, left and right of this group of putti with weaponry. On the other side a crowned weapon with three lilies in a rocaille frame, on which flowers and a cornucopium full of fruit depend. At the top around the inscription: DER BURG'REN LOVE AND TROU IS'T SAFEST INSIDE / THAT PEACE AND VRYHEIDT MINT AND BOOSHEIT DARE. Signed and dated: W: O: R: 1738.
