Carl Jung was Swiss, and lived 26 July 18756 June 1961. Sigmund Freud was Austrian, and lived between 6 May 1856-September 1939. Sándor Ferenczi was Hungarian, and lived between 7 July 187322 May 1933. All were involved in the founding stages of psychoanalysis. The three other members of the group are American psychoanalyst G. Stanley Hall, Austrian/American Abraham Brill and British/Welsh psychoanalyst Ernest Jones.
