Carimate (Como), Lombardy, Italy. The castle of Carimate was altogether rebuilt in 1345 by Luchino Visconti, owner of the feud. In the following years his descendants made additions and additions on several occasions: fortifications, a deep moat and in 1481 a partial rebuilding.
