Tomb of Caecilia Metella, Rome, Italy. Cecilia Metella was the daughter of Quintus Caecilius Metellus Creticus, who was Roman Consul in 69 BC. She was also the daughter-in-law of Triumvir Marcus Licinius Crassus. Her husband, Marcus Licinius Crassus the Younger, built this mausoleum for her on a hill overlooking the Appian Way.
