Peter Ustinov and Trevor Howard in Odette, a 1950 British war film based on the true story of Special Operations Executive French agent, Odette Sansom. Peter Ustinov in Quo Vadis, a 1951 American epic historical drama film. Sir Peter Alexander von Ustinov CBE FRSA (16 April 1921 - 28 March 2004) was a British actor, filmmaker and writer. He was a fixture on television talk shows and lecture circuits for much of his career. An intellectual and diplomat, he held various academic posts and served as a goodwill ambassador for UNICEF and president of the World Federalist Movement. Trevor Wallace Howard-Smith (29 September 1913 - 7 January 1988) was an English stage, film, and television actor. After varied work in the theatre, he achieved star status with his role in the film Brief Encounter (1945), followed by The Third Man (1949).
