The chalice has a slightly sloping base. A massive, baluster-shaped trunk known as the Silesian trunk in six vertical ribs ending in a point. An elongated bubble in the trunk. Above this two knots followed by a thick chalice bottom and the chalice. There is an air bubble in the chalice bottom. On the chalice wall an image of the coat of arms of Leiden, flanked by two lions with the caption: LEYDENS WEL VAAREN. The three words are outlined separately. Under the word WEL is a to, Date1958.
