Caption: The killed hairdresser Petra Schelm. She sat in a BMW that entered one of the 20 road blocks on the 15th of July in 1971, which were set up during the search for the Baader-Meinhof group. The two passengers opened the fire and tried to escape by foot. 20 year old Petra Schelm was killed by a head shot, her companion Werner Hoppe was arrested shortly afterwards. A public discussion about the quality of the police shooting practice started. Petra Schelm was the first casualty of the RAF (Red Army Faction)
