Orvieto, MODO (Museum of the Opera of the Duomo of Orvieto): Madonna with Child and six angels holding a curtain (taken from the central lunette of the facade of the Cathedral of Orvieto), by an Umbrian-Siena sculptor and Maestro Sottile (Lorenzo Maitani?). The Madonna was made in the first decade of the fourteenth century, the angels in 1325. Marble, bronze, polychromy, gold and glass paste.
