STEWARDESS FOR PRINCESS'S FLIGHT TO NAIROBI. Stewardess Diana Gill Nanette Palmer (pictured here) of Richmond, Surrey, will fly in the B.O.A.C. Argonaut liner in which Princess Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh will leave London, on January 31, for Nairobi at the start of their Commonwealth tour . Miss Palmer, 27, was born at Grantham, Lincolnshire. During the war she worked for the American Red Cross in London, France and Germany. She joined B.O.A.C.in 1949. The Royal aircraft will carry two crews on the Nairobi flights. They will change at a refuelling point about halfway on the 4500 miles journey. 11 March 1950
