Interior of St John's Co-Cathedral, Valletta, Malta. St John's Co-Cathedral was built between 1573 and 1578 by the Maltese architect Gerolamo Cassar. Originally the church of the Knights of St John, the co-cathedral came to rival the archbishop's cathedral at Mdina in importance.
