Handcoloured woodblock engraving after an illustration by Edward Donovan from The Natural History of Birds, published by Brightly and Childs, Bungay, Suffolk, 1815. Charles Brightly established a printing and stereotype foundry in Bungay in 1795 and went into partnership with nonconformist radical printer John Firby Childs in 1808.
