King of Aragon (as Peter III) of Valencia (as Peter I), and Count of Barcelona (as Peter II) from 1276 to his death. Polychromed tomb of Peter the Great. Begun by the master Bartomeu around 1296. The sarcophagus rests over a Roman red porphyry bathtub and under a Gothic pavilion. Monastery of Santes Creus. Aiguamúrcia, province of Tarragona, Catalonia, Spain.
