Boiling Chip

Boiling chips, also known as boiling stones, boileezers or anti-bumping granules, are small, irregularly shaped pieces of material added to liquids to make them boil more smoothly. Boiling chips are frequently employed in distillation and heating. Boiling chips work by providing nucleation sites so the liquid boils smoothly without becoming superheated or bumping.
