Strip of bobbin lace with c-shaped motif made with circles, Strip of natural-colored bobbin lace: Lille lace. Scattering pattern of square ribbons with, below, on the center line, a repeating pattern of a one-sidedly oriented c-shaped motif of openwork circles or so-called 'pins'. Along the underside of the strip are circles or berries, crowned with three narrow leaves. All circles are made with thicker and shiny contour threads, along which a decorative soil has been applied. Hardly any full work has been applied, only the three narrow leaves of the berries and a few narrow leaves in the c-shaped motif are made in linen. The top and bottom of the strip are finished straight, with the bottom provided with picots., anonymous, Belgium, c. 1830 - c. 1850, linen (material), Lille lace, l 190 cm × w 5.2 cm ×, 2.5 cm.
