Mayor Vincent R. Impellitteri presents to M. Charlette Guedenet, assistant to cultural counsellor or French embassy, the grand prize winner of the Washington Square outdoor art show's Statue of Liberty contest. Drawings were submitted by children of PAL, boy and girl scouts. Looking on during ceremonies are Nell Boardman, chairman of Washington Square art show, Deputy police Commissioner Jas P. Nolan of PAL and Samuel Reed, the young artist who submitted the winning drawing.
