France, Chateau de Puivert-Cathar castle

The current ruins at Puivert Castle date from the 14th century and are still in relatively good condition. The castle has a well-preserved 35 m high keep and 6 towers incorporated in its enclosure wall. The site has been listed as a French Historical Monument since 1907.
