In order to help the Yugoslav population to overcome the great distress caused by this years drought, the first shipment of flour left Mannheim, Germany yesterday afternoon, November 23. This shipment represents part of the E R P program and is based upon a contract between ECA and the German Federal Republic. In order to compensate the German Republic for the amount spent the equivalent amount, estimated to approximately DM 15.960.000, is being paid in the form of additional Marshal Plan funds. Die Lieferung finden auf Grund eines Vertrages zwischen der Verwaltung für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit (ECA) und de Bundesrepublik statt und stellen einen Teil des amerikanischen Nothilfeprogrammes für Jugoslawien dar. Den Gegenwert der Lieferungen in Höhe von 15.960.000 DM erhält die Bundesrepublik durch de Zuwesung zus ätzlicher Marshallplan-Gelder. Helmut Marien von der Ein fuhr- und Verwaltungsstelle für Getriede und Futtermittel (rechts) und Bavlovic Jovan, Vertreter der jugislawischen Importfirma Cendrobrom (links) sind bei Abfertigung der ersten Lieferung anwesend.
