Seretse Khama on the way home. Seretse Khama, the exiled former cheif of the Bamangwato tribe, arrives at London Airport today with his wife Ruth and children Jacqueline and Ian. He was on the way back to Bechuanaland, after renouncing his claim to the chieftainship, at the end of his exile, started in 1950 when his marriage to Ruth Williams caused a split in his tribe. His flight from London Airport to Salisbury, Southern Rhodesia, today was delayed by fog. He is to be joined by his wife and children at Serowe at the end of the month. 9 October 1956
