Elisabethville, Katanga, Congo, Africa : With hands behind their backs, two captured Katangan guerillas are escorted by Indian United Nations troops after they had been captured during the UN forces advance into Jadotville. Jadotville, Katangan President Moise Tshombe's stronghold, was captured yesterday without resistance. Mercenaries had been expected to make a stand in the town, but according to local people they left at 10am, after first carrying out acts of sabotage. 4 January 1963.
