Hyppolite Magloire Bisson (1796-1827). Oficial de la marina fracesa. Ostentó el mando del bergantín "Panayoti" durante la Guerra de Independencia Griega, el cual pertenecía a la flota del almirante de Rigny. Separado del resto de la flota, fué atacado por dos barcos piratas. Tras resultar él herido de gravedad, se hundió al volar el barco en lugar de rendirse, 6 de noviembre de 1827.
