Pedro Mártir de Veciana y de Miró (Pere Màrtir de Veciana i de Miró) (Valls, 1771-Tarragona, 1836). Fourth commander of the Squadrons of Catalonia (Esquadres de Catalunya), from 10 March 1798 to 1827. Son of Felip Veciana i Dosset, whom he succeeded as commander of the Corps. During the Peninsular War he fought against Napoleon, but at the end of the war he put himself at the service of absolutism, serving as a brigadier in the army of Ferdinand VII. Portrait. Engraving.
