Ichthyosaurus Teeth

Part of the jaw of an Ichthyosaurus, showing its grooved, conical teeth. Ichthyosaurs were carnivorous marine reptiles, found worldwide in the Mesozoic era. They grew up to three meters long, with a body plan similar to a dolphin's. They used the conical teeth in their beak-like snouts to feed on cephalopods.
