Designer: Probably after a design by Giambologna (Netherlandish, Douai 1529-1608 Florence). Dimensions: Overall (confirmed): 11 3/4 × 5 1/2 × 3 1/8 in. (29.8 × 14 × 7.9 cm). Date: 1596. The design of this figure goes back to a large marble by Giovanni Bologna, The Risen Christ, made for the Cathedral of Lucca between 1577 and 1579.
