Re - Readying Operations Begin -- When U.S. Air Force F - 51 Mustangs of the veteran 18th Fighter Bomber Wing return from a combat strike on Communist targets in North Korea, they form into "follow-the-leader" row as shown above for efficiency in reloading of ammunition and rearming operations. Soon rocket and bomb carrying trailers will thread their way through the lines of fighter - bombers. loading the high velocity missiles as they pass each plane.
