Orig. bildtext... KRUPP-AGREEMENT SIGNED! The final plan for the decartellisation of the Friedrich Krupp Concern was signed on 4. March, 1953 by represenatives of the Allied High Commisssion and Krupp's American Lawyers. According to that Alfred Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach relinquishes on any activity in the coal- and steal industries. Krupp's possessions in the coal, iron and steal industries will be sold, the proceeds will be given to Alfred Krupp. Apart from two companies of his concern which he will have to transfer to two members of his family, he will remain possessor of the rest of the Krupp possessions. With ths decartellisation of the Krupp-Concern the Allies want to abolish the excessive combination of economic power which according to their opinion is represented in the Krupp-Concern. Dömdes till 12 års fängelse för utnyttjande av slavarbetare under kriget, men frigavs efter 3 år. 1953 fick han tillbaka posten som chef för företaget.
