HISTORY OF PHOTOGRAPHY photographic reproduction of a male portrait in daguerrotipo realized by the Swiss engraver and daguerrotipista Johann Baptist Isenring (12 May 1796 - 9 April 1860). The author has completed the daguerrotype with a manual coloring applied to register the metal plate, on a very thin glass plate (see also: FSNgilardi_74015.jpg and FSNgilardi_74016.jpg). Switzerland, St. Gallen, circa 1860.
