Scottish Wildcat, Endangered

The Scottish wildcat (Felis silvestris silvestris syn. Felis silvestris grampia) is a European wildcat population in Scotland. It is listed as Endangered in the United Kingdom and is primarily threatened by hybridization with domestic cats. Harrison William Weir (May 5, 1824 - January  31906) was an English gentleman and artist. In 1889, he wrote Our Cats and All About Them describing and illustrating the pedigree varieties of the time. This was the first pedigree cat book.
