Four large sunken ovals in which landscapes are painted and four sunken circles within which sailing ships are painted. Masks and flower vases are embossed between the ovals and circles. Painted in the genre of Bernard Palissy., anonymous, London, c. 1640 - c. 1670, earthenware, tin glaze, w 49.5 cm × d 41 cm × h 6 cm.
