Lake Spring Cleaning For The Coronation - Men at work with tractor, getting the sludge away in the St. Jamees Park lake. The lake in St, James's Park is now undergoing its periodical "Spring" clean. It will take about a month to drain the lakes clear away the sludge, and make any repairs which may be necessary to the concrete bed. The lake was last cleaned in 1-950 and it has been started earlier on this occasion to ensure that it shall be completed in good time for the coronation. January 03, 1.
