The caption, with a few minor alterations, is still true for today: "Are you now for Italy?" - "No" - "For Russia?" - "No" - "For Turkey?" - "No, I am only for myself.". Possible reference to Treaty of San Stefano (1978) peace settlement imposed on the Ottoman government by Russia at the end of the Russia-Turkish War.
