The date (and the following place of birth), are derived from Louis Austin Warren, Lincoln's Parentage & Childhood. A History of the Kentucky Lincolns supported by documentary evidence, 1926, p.82. When asked about his place of birth, Lincoln himself mentioned Nolin Creek, which was on Sinking Spring Farm. This appears to have been about 15 miles SE of Elizabethtown, at what is now called Hodgenville, in Larue County, at 37 33N 85 49W. In the face of the several alternative birth-places proposed in the numerous biographies, I have adopted these coordinates, for the place. Nowhere does the time of birth appear to have been recorded, though some of the early material appears to suggest a birth early in the morning. The complete charting for the above data, supported by rectifications, is as follows:. Moon 23.38 Capricorn Sun 23.13 Aquarius Mercury 09.57 Pisces. Venus 07.11 Aries Mars 25.27 Libra Jupiter 22.02 Pisces. Saturn 03.08 Sagittarius Uranus 09.40 Scorpio Neptune 06.41 Sagittarius. Pluto 13.37 Pisces Caput 06.57 Scorpio Fortuna 26.16 Libra.
