Tom Newman Plays New Billiards Game - Tom Newman the famous billiards player, tries his hand at the new game "Snukapool" at Thurston's. The game may be played by any number of persons, and consists of a strip of billiards table with nine pockets. Each pocket has a hazard in front of it and is numbered from naught upwards with a groove near the top of the table which scores fifty if the player cues the ball into it. The player continues to make his break untill he fails to score, either by "'potting" a naught of failing to put the ball down. The top pocket is naught. January 12, 1937.
