Pair of Ruched Women's Shoes, Dark red leather shoe decorated with two rows of black silk ruffles on the forefoot cut, Dark red leather shoe. Model: Pointed nose, one front cover and two side blades. The stitching that holds the sheets together was originally covered with black silk bands. The front of the heel runs straight down in a rounded corner from the geleng. The side and back of the narrow heel are fitted and covered with black leather. Along the edge of the heel are white stitching. Leather back and roughened leather sole. Side sheets and front sheet are lined with beige linen. A triangular piece of ivory white leather is attached to the heel. The insole is ivory white leather. Embellishment: Along the cut-out of the forefoot two rows of superimposed black silk ruffles. The shaft edge is not finished. Holes in the shaft edge so possibly there has been a band to finish the shoe.
