View of the newly completed London Central Mosque taken from the west, showing the arcaded elevations of the northern and eastern ranges. The London Central Mosque, also known as Regent's Park Mosque, was built by John Laing & Son Ltd between 1974 and 1977. The mosque was designed by English architect Sir Frederick Gibberd, who won the international competition to design the mosque in 1969.
