Orig. bildtext... JEWISH MESSIAH HAILED IN PALESTINE - HERMIT PPROPHESIES ARMAGEDDON. It is reported from Jerusalem that thousands of Jews now believe that their long-awaited Messiah has arrived. He is Moses Guibbory, who arrived in Palestine 17 years ago with the first Russian immigrants and since 1927 has made many prophetic utterances which have been found true. He foreshadows Armageddon within the next 20 years. He says that the Germans will eventually turn to the Holy Land to destroy the Jewish people but at that moment a terrible earthquake emanating from the Mount of Olives will take place and the German invaders will be annihilated. Two-thirds of the world's population will perish but peace will afterwards prevail. Guibbory has lived for many years as a hermit. He believes that he was guided to the holy cave on the Mount of Olives where he spent three years writing a new interpretation of the Bible in Hebrew and English apparently with super-natural aid.
