Fairy flies (Alaptus magnanimous) are minute parasitic wasps which lay their eggs in those of other insects. Early in the last century Fred Enock, an expert on this wasp family, produced some remarkable balsam mounts of them, which is shown here. Rheinberg Illumination with a Zeiss Tessovar. Stack of 5.
