Staff at Kingston Hall, Kingston on Soar, Nottinghamshire, c1910. Standing on the left is Teddy Thomson whose duties included carrying coal into various rooms of the Hall and taking and collecting the mail from the Hall to the Post Office. The house is built of stone, and is a spacious and handsome residence in the Elizabethan style of architecture. At the time the picture was taken it was the home of Henry Strutt, 2nd Baron Belper.
