Lebanese Civil War (1975-1990), the original conflicting parties were the Lebanese national movement made up of Muslim forces and the Palestinian PLO and the Lebanese front made up of Christian, pro-Western forces. In the later course of the war, changing coalitions of different groups and several interventions from outside followed.
