'Wrens' New Director -- Appointed as the next Director of the Women's Royal Naval Service is Superintendent Nancy Margaret Robertson, seen here in London today (Friday), who succeeds Commandant Dame Mary Lloyd in December. Superintendent Robertson, whose home is at St. Katharine's, Aberdeenshire, joined the WRNS in December 1939 ans was commissioned the following year. She was awarded the CBE in the Birthday Honours List of 1946 and the CBE in the Coronation Honours in June 1953.
