Turkish version of the Wonders of creation, Virgo and Libra, This is an Ottoman illuminated and illustrated Turkish version of Ajib al-makhlqt (Wonders of creation) by Zakary al-Qazwn (d. 692 AH / 1293 CE), made at the request of the Vizier Murtaza Paa (Murtaá Psh) (fl. eleventh century AH / seventeenth CE). The codex was completed in 1121 AH / 1717 CE by Muammad ibn Muammad Shkir Rzmah-i Nthn. There are 444 paintings illustrating the text. The binding is not original to the manuscript.
