Condemned Girl's Mother -- Mrs. Elizabeth Neilson visited her daughter, Ruth Ellis in Holloway Jail Yesterday, after Mrs. Ellis had learned officially that she must die tomorrow for the murder of her lover, David Blakeley. But she did not tell her mother - and her mother did not know then that Britain's home Secretary, Mr. Gwilym Lloyd-George, had turned down requests for a reprieve.
